Robert "Bob" Evans
Bob was raised on a farm in Scott County, IL with his 6 siblings. He maintains an ownership interest in that farm today. He is a Winchester High School and an Illinois State University graduate. In 1984, he became a resident of Carlinville, when he was employed by Illini Production Credit Association as a Vice President in ag lending. After 4 ½ years, he joined the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Carlinville and spent the next 7 years with them as a Vice President in commercial and ag lending. In 1995, he accepted a position with Prairie Farms Dairy as the controller for their PFD Supply subsidiary and then later became the Ice Cream Specialties subsidiary controller until his retirement in November 2022. He is married to Lynne (Rathke) and together they have 2 children, Nicholas (wife Elizabeth) and Elisabeth (husband Daniel Ryan).
Lynne will be retiring as a kindergarten teacher from the Carlinville School district in May of 2024 after 35 years of service. In addition to recently obtaining his real estate license, Bob also has his life, casualty, health and fire insurance license. Bob has truly enjoyed Carlinville and Macoupin County for the past 39 years and looks forward to enjoying many more. In addition, he would like to help others make it their home now and for many more years by offering his real estate services through Land & Home Sales and Auction.
